Hi! I’m Bryonna—Denver born, Ohio raised. After working as an interior designer for 6 years, I founded Flick of the Whisk Cakes March 2019 on a leap of faith & a lot of prayer. My business took off after participating in the Cherry Creek Farmers Market (where many of you may have discovered me) selling jar cupcakes & homemade Oreos.
Completely self-taught, baking was never a “hobby” of mine, just something I enjoyed doing every now & then. At the constant request of my dad, I started with a simple recipe, Chocolate Chip Cookies from the back of the Hershey’s Chocolate Chip bag. That evolved into helping my mom make her amazing pound cake (which I still haven’t mastered) and surprising my whole family on Thanksgiving 2018 by making a caramel apple naked cake (my first “professional” looking cake).
